Trent is a venue and event operator, businessman, and hospitality industry representative. Trent is passionate about his home city of Brisbane, and in particular, the Fortitude Valley, where he can see both opportunity and tremendous upside.

Trent has owned and operated the GPO Hotel & The Met Brisbane, and ran events in Fortitude Valley for five years. Recently Trent’s group, Celissa, opened exciting new venues, Isles Lane (Brisbane CBD) and Bierne Lane (Fortitude Valley). Trent lives locally with his family in Newstead, and is involved in a number of property ventures.

Trent helped found Our Nightlife Queensland, a peak industry body for the Night Time Economy in Queensland, and is the past President of the Valley Safe Night Association.

Trent and his business partner, Matt Blyth, won the Hospitality and Tourism Category of the Brisbane Young Entrepreneurs awards for 2018. 

Trent brings a passion for the Night Time Economy of Brisbane, a local business perspective, and strengths in advocacy and policy development to the Management Committee of ChaplainWatch.
